“Heroes”, Phillip Glass Symphony No. 4

The title and the musical content say more than any blog ever could. The truly wonderful thing about music lies in the ability to express the “in between”, the events, feelings, thoughts, and emotions that cannot be captured in words. Glass creates the central themes based on the music of David Bowie. Movements as listed here, recording is a beautiful performance of Marin Alsop conducting the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
